The slag heap is worth it. From here you can see how the landscape changes. In the south you can see Dortmund with the foothills of the Sauerland and to the north you can see how it becomes increasingly flatter towards the Münsterland.

Nice to ride if you want few small jumps in it, mighty muddy in wet conditions

The freely accessible dump is located directly on the Emscher Cycle Path and offers a great all-round view at 112 m (approx. 55 m above the surrounding area). The ascent, whether on foot or by bike, is worthwhile.

Wonderful jump line. Absolute fun trail! 👌 But be careful: not all edges can be rolled off! If you are still unsure, you should test beforehand. Who can: Have fun!

In my opinion this is the Eggendahler Freeride, the Nizzatrail is at a different point and ends in the Nizzatal
