Driving along here is incredibly fun, just gliding along with the sun on your neck 😁

A typical Black Forest trail: narrow, rooty, and sometimes technical (grades S1–S2), but with plenty of flow and pure nature. A real highlight for mountain bike enthusiasts.

First, have a leisurely meal at the Kälbelescheuer and then head down the trails. The trails are great and not too demanding. Very flowing

The roller route is particularly suitable for beginners and offers a good mix of single trails and wider forest roads. The first two sections of the roller route are particularly difficult and require a little MTB experience. After that, there are wider forest roads that can also be ridden by inexperienced riders. Shortly before the end, there is a short (<200m) more difficult section. If you prefer nice trails, I would recommend riding the Badish Moon Rising and then the Canadian.

For me, the Hexentrail is the most beautiful trail in the Freiburg area. It is not as technically demanding as Canadian, Borderline or Baden to the Bone, but it has something to offer for all levels of difficulty. It is suitable for beginners, but the necessary respect should not be lacking. Even for advanced riders, jumps, higher steps and flowing sections alternate. A really successful trail in itself. You can also see the work that Mountainbike Freiburg e. V. puts into it. The trail is constantly being improved and new elements added. Thank you very much for your work.

The Hexentrail is a super beautiful trail for anyone with some mountain biking experience.
