Here, you should keep a certain distance from the edge. Over 100 years ago, an almost vertical drop occurred there. There's a bench at the top from which you can enjoy a great view toward Konstanz.

Although lying on the (quiet) district road, it is a beautiful place with a view of the Schleinsee estate with the court chapel and the private Schleinsee. There are also benches above the farm near the water reservoir with a great view of Lake Schlein and Lake Constance, including the Säntis massif.

From the Malereck you have a fantastic view of the Arbon opposite. The shore area of the Argen estuary is an absolute paradise for bathers.
