The ascent to the right via the hiking trail is very steep and fun. Unfortunately, you can't see much of the Schlössli itself and you have no view. One of the fronts is quite nice though. Access to the restaurant in the Schlössli is limited in time. The Schlössli is nice to look at from afar, e.g. from the Alt Wartburg.

Opening times during the season (normally closes at the end of October), the castle is open to visitors and to enjoy the castle garden on Sundays from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. https://www.wartenfels.ch/

I've wanted to look at this castle for a long time. Today I finally made it and I was not disappointed. The hiking trail goes through a tunnel through the castle. Cool.
