This route is a very nice steady climb on very good asphalted smooth surface with a climb always between 6-10 % with the last part right before the summit creasing to 15 % but only for the length of 100 meters.

The once mighty ruins of Urgiz stood in the middle of the rocky outcrop and are still surrounded by 4 moats, some of them mighty. There are still traces of the keep, the corner tower and the lower outer wall. Further information can be found on the detailed information board.
