Picacho del Camperón is an impressive peak located in the Sierra de Urbión, on the border between Soria and La Rioja. At the top of Picacho del Camperón, you'll find an ice axe stuck in a rock, resembling the sword in Excalibur.

Pico de Urbión is a mountain located in the Sierra de Urbión, on the border between the provinces of Soria and La Rioja. It is a popular destination for nature lovers and hikers. The natural beauty of the Sierra de Urbión offers excellent opportunities for photography.

Romanesque church dating back to the 12th century on the outskirts of Valgañón, a town in the Sierra de la Demanda near Ezcaray. A great stop to get water on the way up to the top of Pradilla.

With the mountain route you can go up from Fresneda, reach the Pozo Negro (durillo), and from there to the Cruz de la Demanda, returning to Fresneda by road and passing through the top of La Pradilla.

Pico de Urbión is an ideal destination for hiking lovers. It is located between the autonomous community of La Rioja and the provinces of Soria and Burgos (Castilla y León). It limits to the north with the Najerilla valley, to the south with the Duero valley, to the west with the Neila mountain range, and to the east with the Cebollera mountain range.

Wonderful to cycle on the little-used road along the reservoir.

Cresting by the Urbión Peaks, at 2,101 masl we find ourselves in the Picacho del Camperón with magnificent panoramic views of the places that surround us. At the top, a curiosity awaits us, an ice ax nailed to a rock in the style of the Sword of Excalibur.

At this point we are at the highest peak in the province of Soria. Pico Urbión, located at 2,228 meters above sea level, offers excellent panoramic views wherever we look. All the trails that bring us to the top are great for running and hiking.
