The existing path was paved to increase the accessibility of the tree (so also for those who are less mobile). Yellow/black signs lead to the 'Pearl of Verwolde'. Along the way you will encounter other special trees, including the remains of 'Uncle Frits', an oak that was planted in 1791 on the occasion of the birth of Frederik van der Borch van Verwolde.
