A beautiful cave that we have already visited for the second time... Good shoes, a jacket and long trousers are recommended... There are a few steps in the cave... In my opinion it is not possible with a wheelchair or walker... In the large hall you can sit down and follow the illuminations... The first time we listened to Pavarotti with Caruso🤩👍🏻... This year there was a different, colorful production...

Yes, you can hike up the Pic du Roussillon (1314 m) if you are in the area, although it is not a monster highlight. The route shown on Komoot does not always match the well-marked route on site. Depending on where you start, we recommend the route down in the valley along the Canal de Molitg, a small water-bearing canal that runs as a black line on the map between Mosset and Molitg-les Bains.

This old, unguarded refuge is still in good condition. It is perched on a privileged location, on a balcony, offering superb panoramas of Vernet-les-Bains on the north-west slope of Canigou. It is open all year round to hikers.

Loved the walk, sturdy shoes a good tip. Not a walk for children as some unproved steep drop offs
