A challenging climb with beautiful scenery and virtually no motorized traffic. However, it's only partially recommended for road bikes, as it's a dead end and the ruts in the concrete on the descent are annoying and spoil the fun.

Panorama Restaurant Edelweiss, Pardiel (Pizol) Lean back and enjoy the wonderful view of Pardiel from the spacious Panorama Restaurant Edelweiss with its large sun terrace. In summer, the restaurant is located directly at the starting point of various mountain adventures for the whole family, such as the Heidi Trail, the Bettlerweg, or the Edelweiss Trail. In winter, it is right next to the slopes. Relax on the sun terrace with its retractable panoramic bar or in the restaurant with its panoramic windows and be enchanted by the beautiful view of the Swiss Alps and the St. Gallen Rhine Valley. Heidialp / Ochsenberg, Maienfeld The alpine hut on the Ochsenberg, built over 200 years ago. Garden mountain inn (Heidialp), the original Heidi hut on the Ochsenberg above Maienfeld. The Malixer Alp (also called Alp Malix) is located above Brambrüesch and below the Furggabüel peak. In summer, there is an inn on the Alp where local products are served to eat and cool drinks to drink.
