The Mathieu Ritter Observatory offers a beautiful view of Rhine Island, but it is too far away for photographers wishing to capture wildlife up close.

The access to the observation tower is somewhat hidden. Don't drive too fast at this height and always look carefully to your right.

If you want to watch birds here, you should at least have binoculars with you. Even better would be a zoom scope that has a decent magnification. Unfortunately, the observatory is a bit far away from the water.
