Beautiful climb from the north (Collobrières). Not super steep, but long enough. The crossing to Bormes-les-Mimosas is simply beautiful

Col de Babaou the north face is in the woods of cork oaks and the south descent with a view of the sea. For people sensitive to vertigo (like me) the pass is more easily done in the other direction.

Ascent from the north, very smooth asphalt, average gradient 5% over 5.6 km, very pleasant! Parking at the top to be reached by car if necessary

West of Cabasson along the road is a property where donkeys live. That was a nice surprise. :)

The Pas de la Griotte is a small climb at an altitude of 72m. Nevertheless, on the way down, you can enjoy a view of the Mediterranean Sea. The climb is about 2 km long on the north side with an average gradient of 3-4%. From the south site, the climb is shorter at around 1km, and steeper with gradients of 6-7%.

One of my favorite cols whatever the side climbed. On the north side, coming from Collobrières, the pass is reasonably steep (between 4 and 5%) but offers practically no respite for 5 or 6 km. On the south side, the decorations are sumptuous. The pass is 8 km long but offers many almost flat sections. There is a 2.5 km steeper passage, around 6%. To do absolutely!

I'm used to other passes in the Allgäu But the only thing missing from the signage is the height information

The climb is regular, the surface from Collobrières has just been redone (watch out for the gravel) and the descent is a real billiard table with magnificent views
