This road makes the transition between the plateau and the Dessoubre valley. So, in the direction of descent, you can enjoy superb views of the river.

The green spring or the Cuse is located on the left side of the river at approximately the same height as the blue spring. This is the true source of Cusancin. The upper gallery of the cave was walled with dry stones.

The blue spring is a Vauclusian spring which emerges in an oval basin. Its depth is nine meters. Divers explored the submerged gallery over a length of 220 meters before stumbling upon a narrowing which was not crossed. The gallery is made up of two siphons. The turquoise blue waters give it its name.

The Dessoubre has its source in the Cirque de Consolation, at Consolation-Maisonnettes, and meanders through this superb valley. The valley is also classified as ZNIEFF (natural zone of ecological, fauna and flora interest), which means that it is a natural space considered remarkable. The Consolation site itself is also known for its monastery, viewpoints, waterfalls and botanical gardens.

As the name suggests, this water is crystal clear sea blue. Is it worth visiting and maybe taking a dip?

Road with little traffic in a beautiful valley, surface a bit rough but easy to ride with a racing bike.

Very nice meditative place. The monastery offers a nice botanical garden and freely accessible external sockets under the roof with the tables and benches. Below the monastery there is a tolerated tent site, over the small bridge directly on the river.

Top landscape where you can go hiking. After heavy rains a highlight below the 47 meter high water cascade.
