Idyllic mountain lake surrounded by dense mixed forests with various paths to walk around. There are two campsites directly on the lake and several bathing areas. The water is fresh and very clear (August 2024) with sandy, shallow entrances. The Mérelle waterfall is a waterfall located in the Vosges, on the Mérelle stream, near Gérardmer.
