The bridge over the Stepenitz is an important crossing just before the river flows into the Elbe. It connects central urban areas with adjacent residential and recreational areas and is used by vehicular traffic, pedestrians, and cyclists. Its location in the river and floodplain landscape offers unobstructed views of the Stepenitz and the surrounding countryside. It is a defining element of Wittenberge's cityscape.

A visit to the interior is worthwhile.

Alternative to the dyke path if you want to get ahead quickly and don't feel like gravel + sheep, the cycle path next to the road is unfortunately badly damaged, the road itself is cleanly tarred and easy to ride but there are many cars (some with about 100 km/h) on the road (even on weekends)

Very quiet tree-lined street that is perfect for rolling.

Road with avenue character and, like most in the area, with little traffic and very good asphalt.

When using a road bike, the road is preferable to the cycle path because there is less traffic and potential root damage is avoided.

Dreamy little town, easy to pass by bike as the main road is paved.

Great surface and very comfortable to ride on hot summer days.
