Update 2025: the surface has got alot worse, in the beginning bricks been put down and ground has become uneven. The drops are now much more pronounced, the only thing should go down here is a full sus mtb, if you bring your hardtail you probably destroy your rear wheel.

This is a really nice trail

Fun sustained section of off-road. Moderately technical depending on the position of the ruts created by motorized traffic - however it can be ridden by gravel bike. NB. This is a Byway Open to All Traffic (BOAT) including motorized vehicles. There is the possibility of pedal strike in sections due to the ruts created by 4x4s.

It's basically undoable going up and can only be done downhill on gravel bikes if it's been dry for quite a few days. When it's wet it's undoable on a gravel bike, unless you really want to have some close calls. My tip is, just avoid it at all costs.

Circular gravel/MTB loop to the north of South Mimms. Pretty easy going if it's dry but needs wider tyres if it has been wet.

Also farmer tends close the gate to access this route , just lift your bike over

Beware this trail is also used by dirt bikes

Can get seriously muddy in the winter

Great bit of riding to move north.

beware for the mini drops by the tree roots, keep pedals flat , there are about 6 or so of these drops. Keep bike in low gear at bottom for root climb. No issues with MTBs

Lovely cycle through tree lined rutted lane Probably best in drier weather.
