Beachy Head is breathtakingly beautiful. The tour over the cliffs and the view of the lighthouse are really worth it. However, you have to share the view with many others as the area has become very touristy. There is a café for breaks and there is also an information center with a shop.

The cliff is the highest chalk sea cliff in Britain, rising to 162 metres (531 ft) above sea level. The peak allows views of the south east coast towards Dungeness in the east, and to the Isle of Wight in the west.

The site of a Neolithic causewayed enclosure, Combe Hill is a 636-foot (194 m) high point on the South Downs escarpment above Eastbourne. The hill boasts fine sea vistas and great views down onto the town. The enclosure was built around 3200 BC and is made of two concentric ditches. Archaeological discoveries have included Roman pottery, Bronze Age bowl barrows and flint tools.
