Of the many lakes in Cerreto, this is the most touristic and urbanized. The walk all around is beautiful.

Rich in woods and panoramic points of rare beauty, the Schia ski area extends along the slopes of Mount Caio which, with its peaks between 1200 and 1600 meters high, is one of the most important mountain massifs of the Apennines. The ski area is equipped with a modern programmed snow system that guarantees the presence of snow throughout the winter season. The station is mainly equipped for downhill skiing, but it is also possible to practice cross-country skiing, hiking and off-piste skiing. Four ski lifts (2 ski lifts, 1 moving walkway and 1 two-seater chairlift) serve the 10 ski slopes that cross the entire area, for a total carousel that covers over 15 km.

CAI path that can be traveled by trail/enduro bike...starting with a rock garden, as you descend towards the high grip a series of technical hairpin bends begins

Trail MTB to descend from Passo Pradarena. The first and last stretch are flowy and easy, the central section is steep and stony but still pedalable: based on experience it is done by more or less frend. In the last part there are also some nice leaps.

An ideal destination for both road cycling, mountain bikers and downhill mountain bikers! The chairlifts of Prato Spilla and Cerreto Laghi in July and August are equipped with special hooks.
