9月 6, 2025, Biderosa Nature Reserve
The area isn't entirely spectacular, but it's very beautiful for easy hikes. Shady forests, the Stagno Sa Curcurica with its long shoreline path, the Stagno Biderosa, a magnificent elevated vantage point, and a long, often sparsely visited beach by the sea offer many highlights in a relatively small area. Most visitors only go to the beach; the other hiking trails are usually empty.

7月 5, 2025, Cristo di Monte Tuttavista
A beautifully designed and monumental cross with the larger-than-life body of the crucified Christ crowns Monte Tuttavista. However, Italy's most famous crucifix is not found on the mountaintops, but in literature: The author Giovanni Guareschi, spiritual father of the protagonists 'Don Camillo' and 'Peppone,' incorporated another main character into his stories – known and loved far beyond the country's borders: the crucified Christ, who speaks to Don Camillo from the high altar. The author himself makes the following comment: "So one must explain: If the priests feel offended by Don Camillo, they can smash a candlestick on my skull for all I care; if the communists feel offended by Peppone, they can break a club on my back; but if someone feels offended by Christ's speeches, there's nothing one can do. Whoever speaks in my stories... is my Christ, that is, the voice of my conscience. My personal business, my cause. And therefore: each for himself, and God for all." (G. Guareschi)

9月 23, 2023, Biderosa Nature Reserve
The Oasi Biderosa is more than just a reserve; it is a portal to pristine, wild beaches, immersed in the beauty of the Sardinian landscape. With every step you take, a new path opens up, leading to one of five stunning beaches. As you walk, you can't help but admire the magnificent color contrasts and views that unfold before you like a living painting. One of the most beautiful things about the Biderosa is that its beauty is protected. Only 140 cars are allowed in daily, ensuring that the peace and integrity of this paradise is maintained. If you come with a camper van, you will have to park it at the entrance, but that's a small price to pay for what awaits you: a perfect day of hiking, wondering and a refreshing swim in the crystal clear waters of the Sardinian coast.

9月 23, 2023, Cala Fuili
Already on the journey along the coastal road from Cala Gonone, a fascinating panorama reveals itself to you: Cala Fuili, located at the southernmost end, shines as a small, almost white pebble beach and forms the gateway to the rocky coast of the bay of Bay, which stretches for kilometers and is protected Orosei. From the street above, which primarily serves as a parking space, stairs lead down into this idyllic bay. The first sight of the crystal clear, turquoise water will take your breath away. And when you feel the soft pebbles under your feet, you will understand why this place is considered a real insider tip. The sea not only invites you to cool off, but also offers a paradise for snorkelers with its underwater world. Despite the high season, you will be surprised at how pleasant the "towel population density" is here. Nevertheless, the earlier you arrive, the more undisturbed you can enjoy this gem. However, before you plunge into the adventure, think about the Mediterranean sun: a sun hat, enough sunscreen and, above all, plenty of water should definitely be in your luggage. So, follow the stairs down into a world of white and turquoise and discover the hidden treasures of Cala Fuili.

In Baronìa, in the province of Nuoro, there is a limestone peak over 800 meters high on which stands a bronze Christ. It is Monte Tuttavista, to get here with your bike you will have to sweat!

You can stay all day long on the beautiful beaches. The entrance fee of €14 for a car and two people was worth it.

This huge grotto is definitely worth a visit, even if you can only get into the first chamber. Entry costs €8 per person and access is every hour on the hour. The guided tour in English was very interesting.

At the end of October we and maybe ten other people had the park to ourselves. Great wild beaches.

A magnificent viewpoint that requires a bit of a fight to reach on a bike. A steep climb, whether on asphalt or gravel.

The Oasi Biderosa consists of 5 beach sections. Here is the beautiful Oasi 3. It is a bay with lots of beach and fine sand and a beautiful blue sea. In the background is the Stagno Biderosa, which hardly had any water when we visited in October. It is idyllically flanked by the forest and the mountain range. In October this was the most visited beach at the Oasi Biderosa. Yet it was by no means overcrowded.
