From Mount Generoso you can see Switzerland, Brianza, the Varese area and the mountains of Valsassina.

Here is the top of the short but steep climb from Brinzio towards Varese, well known among local cyclists. Find a restaurant if necessary, excellent area for a refreshment.

A small pass around Lake Maggiore and Lake Lugano that we had a lot of fun with. The climb is easy to do and has great views towards Lake Maggiore.

The view is unique due to the height. Riding on the cog railway is also an experience as you can enjoy the view. You should, because the trip isn't exactly cheap. For Sunday trippers: remember to wear warmer clothes even when the weather is nice, as it can be cool upstairs and have increased humidity.

Paragliders take off from here with their colorful parasols. Great to look at, from the summit you can watch them until the landing if visibility is good.
