The border between Slovenia and Italy is located in this place. The small house was once a border checkpoint, now no longer in use. This land was not only Italian and Slovenian, but also several other nations and kingdoms. After the fall of the Western Roman Empire, Robedischis came under Byzantine rule and was subsequently part of the Duchy of Friuli, involved in the dynamics of the Lombard and Carolingian kingdoms.
