A beautiful route to do in the summer. Initially opposed by the Alpine dwellers, it is now recommended by Swiss Mobility with the famous bicycle.

Better name: North flank of Monte Bar. Unlike Aldo, I rode it as an uptrail. A steadily ascending, long singletrack. More rocks at the bottom, then through pine forests towards the end. Mostly S1. But because it's uphill, the effort required until the end should not be underestimated. Overall, wonderful.

Definitely a technical trail, not suitable for everyone. Very varied in its alternation of jumps, hairpin bends, narrow and steep passages. The conditions of the trail are not good at all (fallen trees, strong erosion...). Be careful also because you could suddenly take the wrong road (there are many forks that rejoin further ahead but with big differences in the difficulty of the route) or not notice that the first part of the descent intersects a road immediately after a steep section that ends with a fence.

@stefano: the traverse you mention is less exposed and much more flow than the Motto della croce-davrosio. Look at the pictures. But pay attention to the period: if you go there when the pastures are full, the matro prevents you from passing

Great trail, characterized by epic length, but is also demanding, especially towards San Lucio at the end!

Definitely one of the most beautiful descents in the Valley.

nice path to do all in the saddle, with low slopes, little or average exposure, excellent terrain
