La Cava is always La Cava..... You look out and... without thinking too much, you go. If you get past the first part, it's done :-). Jokes aside. This is a stretch to be tackled with caution and with good MTB riding skills. To avoid the first part, you can take the short variant to the left which in any case is steep and has some roots.

Beautiful trail, very well maintained, not very long but really pleasant to walk, all under a beautiful forest. P.s After the rains avoid going there because the terrain from spectacular becomes anything but, slippery and treacherous because in many places the clay makes it truly impassable. To be done in dry conditions for sure.

Done yesterday, I confirm it's demanding, I really recommend high-quality front shock absorbers. However, 50 meters from the end I flew away with a blow to the shoulder, everything was ok but caution is needed

To do and redo

Starting point for mountain bike descents, but also a panoramic point with a 360 degree view that is truly worth it.

The plant has fallen for some time and hinders the passage a little, even if with time and the passage of various bikers the path has widened outwards. The base of the trunk has taken the shape of a boar's head, at least I pretend it is. 🐗

One of the most famous trails in the Parma Apennines, "La Cava" is varied and fun. It has significant slopes, sandy sections, simpler variations and sections with large loose stones. The use of a MTB with a front shock absorber with good travel is recommended, even better if bi-suspension.
