very technical trail, to be done with low MTB tire pressure

Not very short dirt road and very demanding due to the slope, length and surface, to be tackled only if very fit, otherwise you have to carry the bike by hand, at least in some points

Superb descent !! Leg break climb, it was my first serious MTB climb

Path with many stones, done downhill with a hardtail like mine you have to be careful, but it is doable, I never managed to do it in the saddle, too rough and sloping.

War Line 1945 is one of the most beautiful trails in the Modenese Apennines. The itinerary begins shortly after Lake Pratignano and then descends towards Serrazzone. It has everything an enduro descent should have: flows, curves with support, counter-slopes and very steep sections. The trail, technical and fun at the same time, runs along the Gothic Line, the articulated system of defensive fortifications built by the German army during the Second World War. The Gothic Line was the scene of the breakthrough battles by the Allies in the spring of 1945 during the liberation of Italy. The name of the trail is a tribute to the history of these places. The signs will help you find it.

Downhill track, very technical part and narrow technical central part with a groove carved by the water, from which the track takes its name, stony at times. Attention about 3/4 you cross an exposed point on the left about 5mt, moving stones to follow and final in the "grotto"
