It is one of the most important places of remembrance of anti-fascism in Bologna. Here, in December 1944, groups of partisans were led by the Nazi-Fascists on several occasions and then shot. Monte delle Formiche is a relief in the middle Bolognese Apennines above Pianoro, between the Idice valleys and the Zena valley. It has an altitude of 638 m. From the Sasso Marconi railway station we immediately take the path connecting with the Via degli Dei.
