We went downhill today for the first time with a hardtail, quite a difficult technical experience. For safety's sake, we put our feet down several times.

War Line 1945 is one of the most beautiful trails in the Modenese Apennines. The itinerary begins shortly after Lake Pratignano and then descends towards Serrazzone. It has everything an enduro descent should have: flows, curves with support, counter-slopes and very steep sections. The trail, technical and fun at the same time, runs along the Gothic Line, the articulated system of defensive fortifications built by the German army during the Second World War. The Gothic Line was the scene of the breakthrough battles by the Allies in the spring of 1945 during the liberation of Italy. The name of the trail is a tribute to the history of these places. The signs will help you find it.

Singletrack classified as Black. It is a more complex technical descent than the others but still within everyone's reach (or almost). On average it takes 5 minutes to complete the descent

Among the paths of Abetone Gravity Park this descent is one of the easiest dedicated to Downhill. It is indicated as BLACK but it is also feasible with ENDURO bikes. Suitable only for experts with everything you need. N.B .: the start of the route is not marked and it is not easy to find. Starting from the refuge, go down the path having the mountain on the right, arrived at the first sharp bend you have to stop and go up pushing the bike (the exact point is next to the snow cannon). The beginning of the descent is challenging then it becomes easier
