A beautifully landscaped area with a main building. There's a restroom and some information about the nature reserve. Outside, there are seating areas for a picnic with a great view.

In the Borgo Santa Maria area, in Pineto, there is this particular natural attraction of the Mud Volcano called Cenerone. It is a natural phenomenon, mud and clay come out of the ground, similar to a magma outflow from a volcano. This peculiarity has been safeguarded by establishing a geopark and is also a place protected by the FAI.

Atri and its gullies

Always open easy road for the entire route with some dirt sections.

5.6 km circular tour with ascent and descent, I recommend not doing it in very hot periods.

The gullies are hills characterized by very accentuated forms of erosion. These erosions have formed a very characteristic hilly landscape, which can be easily visited a few kilometers from Atri, in the province of Teramo.
