A mountain town with beautiful views, it's a shame it isn't looked after as it should, endless road and renovation works, few accommodations, each one a Patrizia in itself without a connection, non-existent tourist information. Campitello Matese is an important ski resort, but also the starting or crossing point of hiking or cycling routes.

Very long climb but with very pedalable slopes, sometimes there are some torn ones but nothing special.

One of the longest climbs in Molise. Just over 12km to cover about 900m D +. The climb with an average of 7% is not difficult. Only a few small stretches a bit more challenging here and there.
