Great trail, starting with a nice terrain of small stones and pine needles interspersed with a few steps and a small technical climb, then at the bottom it becomes steep on more difficult terrain, with a few hairpins. Note that there is an escape route on the right about 3/4 of the way down, very little visible. Rating S2.

To get to this trail you have to go up from Barcelonnette along a good forest road with beautiful views to the Col des Aralis and then you will simply continue on your mountain bike down. At the top it is steep with some tight bends, which will be slippery when wet. After that, it becomes smoother all the way back to the valley. The top part is a very steep and technical descent, with many hairpin turns. Some parts are very exposed.

Short technical trail to the edge of the Mercantour National Park. Uphill with lots of rocks and roots. Lots of hike-a-bike. The downhill is easy with some nice switchbacks in the beginning. Singletrail!

Polyvetta Botanique trail vanaf Pien Haute. Flowy track!

MTB Descend from Col de Alaris to Uvernet-Fours. Upper part is a steep, technical downhill section with lots of hairpins. Some parts are exposed. Watch out when entering the village: you will end the descend right at the route nationale.

I agree beautiful high-altitude road, wide and suitable for everyone without anything demanding

Via del Sale variant in very nice mtb, but very demanding as a ride!
