The Reatillo River, also known as the Sot River in its final stretch, is a tributary of the Turia River that flows through spectacular natural surroundings in the province of Valencia, particularly in the Chera-Sot de Chera Natural Park. In Sot de Chera, the river forms natural pools or "charcos" (pools), ideal for swimming, especially in summer. One of the best-known is Charco Gruñidor, a natural pool of crystal-clear water surrounded by vegetation and rocks.

Be careful, after the Dana, the path that crossed under the waterfall is impassable. So either you go up on the right to visit the small caves, or you go up to the left (castle side) to visit the large caves, but you can no longer do the loop. (Still valid at the end of February 2025)

The Cueva de la Garita is a natural wonder located in the Chera-Sot de Chera Natural Park, in the Valencian Community. This place is known for its impressive beauty and its natural surroundings, which include the Chorrero de la Castellana and the Charco de las Lumbres.

This single-track trail is magnificent to walk, nothing technical (but if you take it from Chera, it climbs gradually.

The climb to Pico Ropé is one of the most classic routes in Chera. The effort of the climb is rewarded with spectacular panoramic views, especially on clear days, where you can see the coast of Valencia.

I recommend going there down from the chera - Sot de Chera, all along the way down (steep, wear proper shoes) you have fantastic views

Steep climb towards Chera. In summer you should avoid this section because there is no shade to be found there.
