The area is accessible via several trails, including the "Casa Rossa - Riserva del Chiarone" route which is suitable for walking, running, and cycling. Ideal place to rest and walk out on the boardwalks to various hides to watch for the birds

Tenuta di San Rossore, part of the Migliarino Natural Park, offers a network of cycling paths immersed in nature. The routes vary from flat to more dirt and wooded sections, crossing pine forests, clearings and glimpses of the coast. Here it is particularly important to respect the marked routes, as the area is a nature reserve rich in wildlife. Along the way, there are refreshment points and picnic areas, ideal for a break between one ride and another. The area of the Tenuta, bordered by the Arno and Serchio rivers, is easily reached from Pisa via the Viale delle Cascine or Via delle Lenze.

Very beautiful area, vast nature to be out and about by bike. It's very nice and often you're pretty much alone, but the sea and the scenery make up for a lot.

Very nice stretch of beach without a banjo. There was little to no rubbish lying around except for washed-up wood. Even on a Sunday during the Whitsun holidays it wasn't crowded.
