The girl from the Uchter Moor, called Moora, is a bog corpse. Her remains were found in 2000 and 2005 during peat cutting work in the Großer Moor in the Nienburg/Weser district near Uchte in Lower Saxony. From the small car park, a 200 m long path leads through the woods to the vantage point.

The view out into the moor is fantastic. Always a magical goal for me. 🌟📸👍 Even if you have to be extremely careful not to slip on the sandy path there and back.

On the tower you can see the moor very well. It is always open and the place is very quiet. There is a small garden bench in front, but it is not that comfortable.
