This hike takes you up a spiral path to a hill known as "Zur Luftstation" (To the Air Station). From there, you'll have a breathtaking panoramic view of Bern and the surrounding countryside. At the foot of the hill lies the grave of Paul Klee, adding to the artistic and historical significance of the location.

Universal Postal Monument, Kleine Schanze, Bern The Universal Postal Monument in the "Kleine Schanze" park was erected in 1909. The Universal Postal Union monument, unveiled on October 4, 1909, is the work of the French sculptor René de Saint-Marceaux (1845 - 1915). It is made of granite and bronze and commemorates the founding of the organization in Bern. On the occasion of the 150th anniversary, a dedication was unveiled in front of the monument on October 9, 2024. Very nice viewpoint. We rested there

The Tavel Memorial is a wonderful viewpoint near Gschneit/Oberbütschel, on the Längenberg. Here, a view of the Alps and the glittering Lake Thun opens up. The plaque honors the Bernese German poet Rudolf von Tavel, who was inspired by this panorama. This place is not only a popular destination for hikers, but also for walkers who want to enjoy nature. In winter, children can sled down the small hill and breathe in the fresh mountain air. The viewpoint is easily accessible from the Gschneit car park in just a few minutes' walk and is often above the high fog, which makes the view even more spectacular.
