It was a quick eye-catcher for me as I drove past.

Here (as in many villages in this area) there are two vending machines stocked with food from local farmers and the surrounding region (e.g., Voelkel beverages, various cheeses, meats and sausages, potatoes, eggs, bread rolls for baking, milk, butter, pasta, honey, etc.). It's a great thing to have when you need something after the shops have closed. The vending machines are accessible 24/7.

Cycle path signs are located at intersections and show you the direction of your destination and the distance. The signs are supplemented with small pictograms of the themed routes.

The Elbe River Road: inclines and gradients of up to 13%. Few separate cycle paths. Very often a beautiful view of the Elbe.
