Corselitze is a mansion on the island of Falster in Denmark. The neoclassical building was built in 1777 by Johan Frederik Classen, who at the time of his death founded Det Classenske Fideicommis, which now owns the property. The history of Corselitze dates back to the Middle Ages, when it was owned by the crown. In the 15th century it was sold to the Falster family and remained in their possession until 1600. It was then acquired by Axel Brahe, who sold it back to the crown in 1603. In the 18th century, Corselitze was acquired by Johan Frederik Classen, who had it converted into a modern manor house. The architect Andreas Kirkerup designed the building in the classicism style, which was very popular in Europe at the time. The Corselitze Manor is an excellent example of 18th century Danish architecture. It is a two-story building with a high mansard roof. The facade is built of brick and decorated with sandstone. The interior of the mansion is decorated in the style of classicism. There is a large entrance hall with a staircase leading to the upper floors. The rooms are equipped with stucco ceilings and marble tiles. The Corselitze manor house is now a popular tourist destination. It is surrounded by a large park designed in English style. The park has a rose garden, a pond and a pavilion. Corselitze is an important cultural monument in Denmark. It is an example of 18th century Danish architecture and a popular tourist destination. Here is some more information about Corselitze: The mansion has an area of approximately 2,000 square meters. There are 18 rooms in the mansion, including a ballroom, a dining room and a library. The park has an area of approximately 100 hectares. There is also an estate, a manor house and a church in the park. Corselitze can be visited: The mansion is open to visitors from April to October. Opening times are daily from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The entrance fee is 100 DKK for adults and 50 DKK for children. Corselitze is a worthwhile excursion destination for anyone interested in architecture, history and nature.

This is one of the largest passage graves in Denmark. The passage grave in Kong Asger Høj is about 10.0 m long next to Listrup on Falster (min. 13 m), Græse (12.5 m) on Zealand, Kong Svends Høj (12.3 m) on Lolland, Gundestrup 2 (12.0 m), Rævehøj from Vester Egesborg (11.5 m), Birkehøj (11 m, both on Zealand) and Jordehøj on Møn and Mårhøj on Funen (each 10 m) one of the largest passage graves (Danish Jættetestue) in Denmark. In Sweden, only Swedish Falbygden (e.g. Ragnvald's tomb at 16 meters) has longer chambers. In Germany (De hoogen Steener with 28.0 m) and the Netherlands (e.g. D27 in Borger with 22.5 m), the so-called Emsland chambers are sometimes much longer.
