Sotillo Waterfall, located in Sotillo de Sanabria (Cobreros municipality, Zamora), is one of the natural gems of the Sanabria Lake Natural Park and one of the most spectacular hiking trails in Castile and León. Its waterfall is approximately 20 meters high, making it particularly impressive in spring and after rain.

The Mirador de las Barrancas, located in Fariza, in the province of Zamora, is one of the most spectacular spots in the Arribes del Duero Natural Park. It offers stunning views of the Duero River canyon, which marks the natural border between Spain and Portugal. A granite landscape with unique rock formations and a microclimate that favors Mediterranean crops such as olive trees, vineyards, and almond trees. Spot birds of prey, such as the griffon vulture and the golden eagle, which are very common in the area.

The Mirador de las Escaleras in Fermoselle is a lovely spot offering spectacular panoramic views. From here, you can take in the natural beauty of the surroundings: the rolling hills, the vineyards and the Douro River meandering through the landscape. It is a perfect spot to stop, breathe deeply and appreciate the serenity of the region.

The Valorio Forest is a large green space located in the northwestern part of the city of Zamora, in Castile and Leon. This forest, which covers approximately 80 hectares, is known as the "green lung" of the city. The forest has a variety of ecosystems, including holm oaks, oaks, stone pines, poplars, aspens and willows. It is an ideal place to walk, play sports, enjoy a picnic or simply relax in nature. It also has a children's play area and a calisthenics park.

The Mirador de las Escaleras in Fermoselle offers stunning views of the Duero River canyon. This viewpoint is located approximately one kilometre on foot from the Ermita de Santa Cruz. The route to the viewpoint is quite accessible and runs between almond and olive trees, passing the ruins of an old carabinieri house. From the viewpoint, you can admire the rugged beauty of the landscape, with panoramic views of the Duero River and the vast peneplain. It is a perfect place to enjoy nature and the tranquillity of the surroundings.

The Ermita de Santa Cruz in Fermoselle is a charming and solitary hermitage located near the border with Portugal. It is located on the outskirts of the town, in a natural setting that mixes vineyards of the “Arribes” designation of origin with olive trees and other plants. The hermitage is an ideal place to spend the day with the family, as it has an esplanade with a fountain, trees and wooden tables. In addition, it is an excellent starting point to access the Mirador de las Escaleras, from where you can enjoy spectacular views over the Arribes del Duero Natural Park.
