このトレイルには、経験豊富なバイカーにも意欲的なハイカーにもエキサイティングな、傾斜、カーブ、テクニカルな通路があるさまざまなセクションがあります。

The Purder Bach Trail is a picturesque single trail along the Purder Bach, with a rideable stream crossing through a tributary. It leads below the Oberburghof ring wall through the Purd Nature Reserve in Hückeswagen. I often use this wooded area as a connection from Hückeswagen to the Dhünn Dam, and this trail is a welcome change from the other, wider hiking trails.

Could have been nice but unfortunately the whole area is blocked with large wooden fences and signs anti-cyclists

The trail has been open again for a few weeks now, and a big thank you goes out to the man with the chainsaw! ;) (As of August 8, 2025)

And as Sir Bikealot said - there are still a lot of trees lying across the road, but I got the bike over them

The stream looked different for me today - the stepping stones were completely under water and the edges of the stream were too steep to ride over - so I climbed into the stream at 6°C and carried the MTB through 💦🥶

There are a few trees lying across the road at the moment (as of 01.11.2024)

Probably the most famous trail between Beyenburg and Radevormwald. Starts off very flowing and becomes increasingly more challenging. Ends with a steep descent to the Wupper.
