I haven't used the ferry yet, the route on the other side seems too sunny to me, if the weather is right, I'll definitely try it @

The ferry takes guests to the other side of the river as quickly as possible and offers a wonderful view of the entire landscape.

You can't get all the way around Lake Lucerne (unless you drive on the motorway...🧐). Since I wouldn't recommend this, the car ferry is a good option. For CHF 12 you can enjoy a 20-minute ride across the lake. Half-fare or GA tickets don't count, unfortunately, as it's in private hands. The ferry always runs...:40. Have fun on the crossing!
