Belle-Isle-en-Terre is a very picturesque town nestled in the folds of the Bretagne landscape. It's home to a stunning chateau, a tiny aquarium and a whole host of beautiful, historical buildings.

Forges have been established there since Roman times. There are still remains of mines and forges in the forest. The river which crosses it is the Légué which joins Belle-Isle-en-Terre a little further north.
