The tower stands on the foundation of the keep of Randenburg Castle, of which only a few remnants are still visible above ground. The view from the tower is breathtaking! There are now several information panels about the castle. The moat is also still clearly visible. On the other side of the moat, there is a large rest area which appears to be well-maintained and popular during the season.

A great hut with a rest area

We were given a break to relax in the morning hours. As quiet and peaceful as ever.

A cabin big enough for groups and a barbecue area. Well done and beautifully located!

The 40-foot-high tower, originally made of wood in 1872, collapsed in 1894 and was replaced by an iron tower in 1909 in the ruins of the Schleitheim Randenburg. Today it stands 896 m above sea level.

From the Randenturm you have a great view of the Black Forest (Feldberg), the Hegau and the Swiss mountains.

The Siblinger Randenturm is definitely worth a visit. The view over the Klettgau, the Black Forest and the Alps is simply stunning. The tower also offers a generous platform and ample space.

The meadow is signposted as a "public playground and camp meadow". Space without end and barbecue facilities.
