The castle ruins are actually right on the main road, so you walk right past them. Whether it's worth it, I can't say for everyone, but it's definitely worth a look. The surrounding grounds are well-kept and tidy.

The origins of Spremberg Castle go back to a water and swamp castle from the 13th century. Remains of a square and a round tower are still preserved today. The two-storey north wing was built in the 16th century. If you drive into Spremberg from the east via Muskauer Straße, you cannot miss this beautiful castle. Great!

The castle is worth a visit. You should combine it with a hike around the Schwannenteich.
