The Hasenmatt, with its height of 1444 m above sea level, is the highest elevation in the canton of Solothurn. No matter what time of year, the climb is always worth it, as you are often rewarded with a fantastic panorama, a sea of fog or a wonderful view.

From the Hasenmatt you have the best view in the Solothurn area. But the ascent over the north flank means "pushing". The downhill on the hiking trail to the east is quite blocked at first, but gets a little easier later on. Level S3, then S2.
