Superb path through the wild gorge to reach the summit of Chasseral. There are some technical passages, with three ladders to climb. The path can be very slippery in rainy weather.

If you're looking for an amazing experience to have at the start or end of your run, the Chaumont Panoramic Tower is perfect. It is a 60 meter high observation tower which offers stunning views of the three Jura lakes, the plateau and the Alps on a clear day. You can access the tower by taking a colorful funicular from La Coudre to Chaumont, which takes around 15 minutes. The tower is open to the public all year round at the price of 13 CHF.
