One of the three stalactite caves in the Bitburg-Prüm district is located on the Holsthum/Peffingen border. It is a high calcareous sinter cliff through which a small stream flows. A staircase leads up the Huwelslay stream. At the bottom of the path, a little to the side, you can climb up the rock to a bench in the rock. Take pruning shears with you to get to the waterfall if you don't want to cut open the brambles.

Lime sinter rocks on the western slope of the heath ridge between Holsthum and Peffingen. The name stands for Eulenfelsen (huwel => owl, lay => rock).

There are two waterfalls not far from the city park with a pond. The water rushes down to the left and right of an old building.
