One of the three stalactite caves in the Bitburg-Prüm district is located on the Holsthum/Peffingen border. It is a high calcareous sinter cliff through which a small stream flows. A staircase leads up the Huwelslay stream. At the bottom of the path, a little to the side, you can climb up the rock to a bench in the rock. Take pruning shears with you to get to the waterfall if you don't want to cut open the brambles.

Take a pruner/hedge trimmer with you to reach the waterfall. 🫣

double Etc waterfall

Lime sinter rocks on the western slope of the heath ridge between Holsthum and Peffingen. The name stands for Eulenfelsen (huwel => owl, lay => rock).

There are two waterfalls not far from the city park with a pond. The water rushes down to the left and right of an old building.

A beautiful niche in the rock, in which the forest spring splashes down, is pretty hidden. A beautiful natural spectacle. If you dare, you can stand under it on hot days
