Lake Codole is one of the highest lakes in Corsica. Its banks are classified as a Natura 2000 area, a protected area that provides refuge for numerous bird species. Galéria is a small coastal village on the northwest coast of Corsica, located on the bay of the same name and serving as a starting point for boat trips to the La Scandola nature reserve. The coastal village of Galéria, with around 400 inhabitants, is an insider tip for a relaxed Corsica holiday away from the hustle and bustle of tourists.
