This scenic viewpoint offers a dramatic, elevated perspective of a rugged mountain environment. It presents a vast panorama of surrounding peaks and the Eikeskartjørna lake below. The view is defined by steep, rocky slopes and raw, untamed nature, giving you a breathtaking sense of isolation and scale over the challenging landscape.

Perfect for overnight stay. The lake is not suitable for drinking, cleaning or swimming. Please make sure to bring enough water with you. There is a public toilet with running water nearby at Grodaland. For more information, check the information board at Building No. 7 (the one with the red door).

It's a bit of a steep descent from the bike path to the fjord, but I think it's worth it. There's a lovely rest area with a bench by the fjord. Lovely wooden cottages line the shore. There's also a smiling boathouse.

I recommend hiking anti-clockwise because the most difficult section involves climbing upwards with a rope, which is easier than climbing downwards.

A great and mostly flat gravel path along the lake. It goes through forest and meadows, rolls wonderfully.
