Beautiful view of the Dachstein, rear Gosausee and Hohe Holzmeisteralm. Very good selection of food, self-service. Hot meals. Opening times late May - early October. Closed when it rains and in winter. No overnight stay. Reachable in 1.5 hours from the PP at the front of the Gosausee on a forest road. Large guest garden, 20 indoor seats.

Black? The hike is easy to moderate. The way is excellent.

Totally recommended - a beautiful place. The way there is easy to walk (forest path) In total (including the return route) there is an altitude difference of around 320 meters, but it is never extremely steep. The hut offers simple but very good dishes - from cheese bread to roast pork. Conclusion: The efforts on the path pay off, there are always very beautiful places (waterfall, Gosaulacke, maple forest, etc.)

The circular route around the back Gosausee does not exist. You have to go back the same way.
