Excellent place to take a break or as shelter in bad weather 👍🏻

This rest area is new to me on 8/24/24 and that's why I've included it on the Komoot route.

IF YOU CAN'T PET ANYMORE, YOU CAN SIT HERE. That is the Low German motto of this beautiful hut at the Neuendorfer Kuhle. But of course hikers can also take a break here and this hut is also ideal as a meeting point for a little chat. So we now have 2 rest huts in Neuendorf.

The hut was open - definitely a nice alternative to bad weather or if you want to sit and watch. Otherwise you can see just as well or better from the shore in front of the door. There was little to see in January. ;-)

A very nice activity in which you would like to take a break straight away. I'd love to see more of this in the old homeland!

In May the door was open. Hut is OK. Unfortunately there wasn't much to see in May. But that's not the fault of the hut 😄

The Heimatverein Neuendorf launched a hiking group in 2020. With the group we discovered many beautiful resting places. So we said to ourselves in our village we could use a nice rest area. No sooner said than done, and now it's standing. We hope that you like the hut and that you also have fun taking a break. Regardless of the weather.
