The terrain in the Bergedorfer Gehölz is quite steep by northern German standards, as it stretches from the Bille lowlands to the Hohe Geest. The highest elevations are the Fuchsberg on the Wentorf side and the Doktorberg in the Bergedorf part of the forest. Both "mountains" are around 50 meters high.
