beautifully landscaped natural swimming pond in quiet surroundings

Very nice swimming pond, top condition

A beautiful swimming pond with a lawn, large trees and a children's area. The snack bar staff were very friendly.

The Forchtenstein bathing reservoir is fed by the Haidbach. It is located in the middle of "Paradise", as the side valley of the Rosalien Mountains is called. It is 15,000 m2 in size and scores points for its natural shade. Oases of peace and water fun are the best ways to describe the area. It is particularly popular with families as it has very shallow access. A diving tower and a water slide, beach volleyball court and playground for the little ones provide variety. On the sun terrace with a wonderful view of the lake, the canteen spoils you with one or two delicacies. Whether you are a bather, hiker, cyclist or walker - a visit is always worthwhile.

Romantic pond - a place where you can unwind.

If you want to see what the smelting and complete destruction of a lake looks like without any public access, you can take this short walk around the two lakes. This is not an example of community living. But at least you won't be threatened with a trespassing lawsuit if you drive on the paths, as happens a few kilometers further on the circuit at a further lake. You can also admire big cars like Hummers and Rolls Roys

Nice pond with an island in the middle. I didn't notice any signs prohibiting cycling.

natural bathing pond. The 4€ day ticket for entry was absolutely worth it, even if we only stayed here for an hour on a very hot day. Children's paradise, shady spots on the sunbathing lawn even on a hot Sunday afternoon in July, friendly staff in the canteen with a beautiful shady terrace.
